Artist's Statement

"My paintings come from within; from memories and feelings
of places I have experienced and from images of wilderness.
I grew up where the Rocky Mountains meet the Great Plains and
my art became inspired by these landscapes. I try to record, suggest and then share those times with others. I like to invite the viewer to 'come in, give me two minutes; join me for a moment in time and share with me a sense of wonder, serenity and beauty.' To remind others of a special place is a big reward for me; it gives my art a sense of purpose."
